* Flood StainStrip is a finish remover for exterior wood surfaces.
How to determine whether you need to use Flood StainStrip:
Does your deck or wood surface have a clear, natural, semi-transparent or solid color finish that needs to be removed? Use StainStrip to remove all exterior finishes, even 100% acrylics.
Here's a simple test to help you check whether your exterior wood has an existing clear or natural finish on it: Sprinkle a drop or so of water onto your deck surface. If it absorbs into the wood in just a few second's time it probably is not coated. If it beads for longer than that before drying, your deck is likely to have an existing finish applied.

**When using a pressure washer for your deck or wood stripping project, refer to the pressure washer manufacturer's instructions for handling and precautionary information. Improper use could result in serious injury and may severely damage the wood.
