Makes exterior acrylic paint stick

E-B® Emulsa-Bond® is a stir-in latex/acrylic paint additive formulated for exterior paints intended for wood, masonry or aluminum siding surfaces. It's ideal for chalky or dusty surfaces, or any surfaces where adhesion is a concern. E-B Emulsa-Bond stirs in easily without altering the original finish color and eliminates the need for primer.

Where To Use
• Fomulated for exterior wood, masonry, aluminum siding or porous surfaces.

Preparation
• Wash protected areas with detergent and water.
• Rinse thoroughly before painting.
• Remove mildew by washing with a mixture of 50% household bleach and 50% water.
• Shake E-B Emulsa-Bond before mixing with paint.
• Stir acrylic/latex paint. Pour paint into a clean pail until ½ or 2/3 full.
• Add required amount of E-B Emulsa-Bond and mix thoroughly.
• To acrylic house paint (for wood or masonry) add up to 1 quart of E-B Emulsa-Bond per gallon.
• To acrylic masonry paint (not recommended for wood) add 2 quarts of E-B Emulsa-Bond per gallon.

Application
• After mixing in the E-B Emulsa-Bond, apply paint as you would normally with a brush, roller or sprayer per paint manufacturer instructions.
• If the desired appearance is not achieved with the first coat, a second coat without E-B Emulsa-Bond should be applied.
• While coverage will vary with the texture and porosity of the surface, you will generally use 20% less paint than if the paint or stain had been applied without E-B Emulsa-Bond.

Dry Time
• Allow 2 to 4 hours of good drying weather.

Clean Up
• Clean tools, equipment, drips and spatters with a solution of household detergent and water. If paint is dry, use paint remover or brush cleaner.
• Keep the brushes and roller in water when not in use.
• Dispose of empty containers and saturated rags according to all applicable regulations.
• Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a cool place. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
