FloodPro® Solid Color Deck & Siding Finish

Formulated For High-Traffic & High Durability

FloodPro Solid Color Finish delivers the ultimate performance for the most challenging projects. Solid Color Finish combines the best of everything – penetration, adherence, durability, flexibility and color retention. It is fortified with Flood's E-B Emulsa Bond to provide unsurpassed adhesion to vertical and horizontal exterior substrates where other products ultimately fail or require extensive preparation and priming.

Available In
• Ready-mixed in Brilliant White and as three tintable bases, including Pastel, Mid-Tone and Deep-Tone that can be custom-tinted to more than 100 specially designed colors.

Where To Use
• Ideal for use on new or weathered exterior wood, previously coated exterior surfaces, siding, decks, docks and other horizontal surfaces including PTW, cedar, redwood and hardwoods; also fences and other vertical surfaces, trim boards, outdoor wood furniture, weathered vertical masonry, including stucco, painted block, fiber cement, etc.

Preparation
• Surfaces to be coated should be clean and dry before applying FloodPro Solid Color Finish.
• Sand, scrape or wire brush to remove all loose flaking or peeling finish.
• Pressure wash to remove excess dirt and other contamination.
• When using chemical cleaners, follow manufacturer’s directions.
• Mildew – A mildew-resisting component has been added to this product to make it dry film mildew resistant, however, no coating is mildew proof. Before coating, be sure to remove any mildew.
• Allow 2-3 days dry time after cleaning wood surface before finishing.
• If the wood surface is new, prepare the surface with FloodPro Stripper/Cleaner® to reduce mill glaze and other factory applied sealers. This will open up the wood and allow maximum penetration.

Application
• Cover everything you do not wish to coat.
• Do not apply if cold, wet weather is expected within 48 hours.
• Apply with a synthetic brush, roller, stain brush/pad or airless spray (.017-.021 fluid tip/1800-2000 psi).
• Mix thoroughly before and periodically during application.
• Apply an even coat of FloodPro Solid Color Finish, avoiding heavy application.
• If an additional coat is required, it may be applied 3-4 hours after initial application.
• When spraying, always backbrush or backroll material to provide maximum substrate wetting, penetration and uniform appearance.
• During application if it is necessary to switch from one can to another, stop at natural breaks such as corners.
• Severely weathered deck surfaces and new wood may require two coats (applied wet-on-wet) for maximum durability.

Dry Time
• To recoat: After 3-4 hours.
• To use a deck surface: 24-48 hours (77°F and 50% relative humidity)
• Avoid heavy abrasions immediately following application.
• Maximum cure and dry time may be prolonged when highly humid or damp, cool conditions prevail.

Clean Up
• Clean-up with soap and water.
• If FloodPro Solid Color Finish is allowed to dry on tools, remove with paint remover.
• DANGER: Rags, steel wool or waste soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after use, place rags, steel wool and waste in a tightly sealed, water-filled container.
