Stripper/Cleaner Strips Old Exterior Wood Finishes

FloodPro® Stripper/Cleaner

Four Products In One

FloodPro® Stripper/Cleaner is four products in one: it can be used full strength or can be diluted for multiple uses. It can strip old finishes and stains from exterior wood, reduce mill glaze, or eliminate grade stamps on wood.

Where To Use
• Strips stain or cleans exterior wood surfaces, including: siding, decks and docks, fences, shakes and shingles, pressure treated lumber, plywood (including T1-11), doors, trim boards and outdoor wood furniture.

Preparation
• FloodPro® Stripper/Cleaner is very slippery. Take special care when walking.
• Stir or shake thoroughly.
• Cover anything you do not wish to strip or clean, including plants.
• Wear eye and skin protection.
• Do not apply on a hot surface; product will dry too rapidly.
• To strip finishes and stains and to remove grade stamps, use full strength.
• As cleaner, add up to 1 quart per 5 gallons of water.
• To reduce mill glaze, add 1 quart per gallon of water.
• If mildew is present, treat in one step by adding one quart bleach to one gallon of Stripper/Cleaner.

Application
• Use full strength or dilute as directed above.
• Apply Stripper/Cleaner in sections you can complete within 15-30 minutes.
• Keep the surface wet with Stripper/Cleaner while it is working.
• When the finish (or dirt) begins to lift, scrub as needed with a stiff bristle brush (do not use a wire brush).
• Rinse with large amounts of fresh water, using the highest pressure washer at 500-1000 psi (Rinse adjacent surfaces at the same time).
• Allow the wood to dry thoroughly (2-3 warm dry days minimum) before refinishing.
• To remove grade stamps, use full strength and scrub until stamp is gone, then rinse thoroughly.
• Note: FloodPro Stripper/Cleaner may darken cedar and redwood. To brighten wood after using the Stripper/Cleaner, dilute Dekswood® Cleaner & Brightener 1:4 with water and spray or roll onto surface; wait 10 minutes, then rinse off.

Clean Up
• Clean tools immediately with water.
