Strips All Stains and Finishes
Flood® Wood Stripper is formulated to strip 100% acrylic and oil semi-transparent and solid-hide stains from vertical and horizontal surfaces including decks, railings, siding and fences. It allows you to "get back to basics" with overcoated wood so you can renew the appearance and protection of your exterior wood.
Where To Use• A fast, effective way to strip semi-transparent and solid-hide stains from exterior wood. • Use on siding, decks, fences and other exterior woods. • For exterior wood only.
Preparation• Flood® Wood Stripper is slippery. Take special care if product is applied to walking surfaces.• Cover any area you will not be treating or stripping, such as plants, shrubs, brushes and trim work, with a dropcloth.• Be sure to wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection whenever working with a stain and finish remover.
Application• Shake container thoroughly. • With brush or roller, apply a uniform coat of undiluted Flood® Wood Stripper remover. Keep the area wet for 15-20 minutes. • After 20 minutes, check to see if the old finish is beginning to soften or dissolve from the surface.• When the dirt and old finish begins to lift from the wood, scrub with a stiff bristle brush or use a pressure washer. Repeat the process on stubborn areas. • Once the finish is removed, rinse the surface and adjacent areas thoroughly with large amounts of water. Use the highest-pressure tap water available or a pressure washer at 500-1000 psi.
Dry Time• Allow the wood to dry thoroughly (2-3 warm, dry days minimum) before refinishing.
Clean Up• Clean tools with soap and water.LIMITED WARRANTY - Flood® Wood Stripper
