Get your Deck in Shape for the Summer - Danny Lipford, host of Today's Homeowner on CBS' The Early Show
Takes the gray out of weathered wood
Even brand-new wood can quickly become gray and dirty from exposure to sun, dirt and rain. Unlike bleach-based deck cleaners, the gentle ingredients in Flood® Wood Cleaner remove surface and ground-in dirt without damaging the sensitive fibers or the wood's natural color.
Where To Use• Ideal for pressure-treated wood, cedar and redwood.• Use on decks, siding, fences, and other exterior woods.
Preparation• Flood® Wood Cleaner is mild and won’t harm plants or shrubbery. • Carefully sweep all debris off deck surface. • Wet surface with a garden hose.• Mix one part Flood® Wood Cleaner to four parts water.• Do not mix with chlorine bleach or other household cleaning products. Doing so can result in release of highly toxic gases.• Mix using only plastic containers in well ventilated areas.
Application• Apply the cleaning solution thoroughly using a stiff bristle brush or a roller. If you are hand brushing your deck, remember to wear chemical-resistant gloves. • Do not allow the deck to dry during the cleaning process. • Allow the cleaning solution to work for 20-30 minutes. • Rinse off the remaining solution thoroughly with clean water.
Dry Time• Allow wood to dry at least two days before applying a finish.
Clean Up • Clean tools with soap and water.LIMITED WARRANTY - Flood® Wood Cleaner
